The Peoria RiverFront is one of the most action packed areas in town, with a host of attractions, dining and nightlife venues in one vibrant stretch along the Illinois River. The area also features the James W. Baldwin Riverfront Festival Park and Liberty Park, both popular for summer activities and festivals, the Riverplex sports center, and InPlay, a two-floor interactive gaming center for kids. It spans more than 10 blocks along Water Street in downtown Peoria, and includes the Spirit of Peoria, a turn-of-the-century paddle boat which gives sightseeing tours.
