Many species of animals are sheltered at the Glen Oak Zoo, including favorites like lions and tamarins and lesser-known species, such as the red-flanked duiker and the binturong. Children can visit with domesticated animals, such as goats and sheep, in the zoo's Contact Area and attend daily animal feedings, which are accompanied by short educational talks. The zoo is located in Glen Oak Park, which also contains the George Luthy Memorial Botanical Garden.
